As an independent Swiss Single Family Office based in Zollikon, the Gütermann Family Office has stood for long-term, entrepreneurially driven investing for nearly 30 years. Our roots trace back to a German textile dynasty that has been making history since 1864 in the field of high-quality sewing threads ranging from traditional silk to modern polyester yarns.

Today, we combine this entrepreneurial tradition with an established network across industry and the financial sector. Our network extends primarily across Switzerland, Germany, and Austria, as well as other European markets. Over many years, we have built resilient, trusted relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, partners, and family offices.

As an active investor, we enjoy direct access to select private equity transactions, private financing rounds, and key decision-makers. We place a particular focus on Deep Tech and Space—and more broadly on sectors where technological substance, high barriers to entry, and long-term growth prospects converge.

We do not invest with a short-term horizon; rather, our ambition is to accompany companies and technologies over years and to create sustainable value. In doing so, we prioritize a long-term investment horizon and contribute our network as well as our expertise in fundraising, financing processes, and structuring.

Our approach goes beyond the mere provision of capital. We support companies and start-ups in structuring and executing their financing processes, gaining access to suitable capital providers, and strategically aligning their investor communications.
